Warehouse / Store Person / General All Rounder

Located in Loganholme, this business is transforming and growing at a remarkable rate as Queensland’s building industry continues to grow. Currently they seek a highly motivated store person, who wants to take ownership of this timber flooring warehouse.

Working in a rapid-paced environment, you will need to have a safety-first mentality and be willing to contribute to supporting our highly functioning business.

The ideal candidate will have a background as a stores person and MUST have a forklift license. You need to be someone who can work alone, think on your feet, and enjoy working in a agile and quick paced environment. You will be an effective communicator and not afraid to take customer enquiries over the phone. You will also need to show longevity on your resume and be able to work under pressure.

Day-to-day duties will include and not be limited to:

Managing accurately the processing and putting away of stock from local and overseas suppliers (containers)

Organising dispatch for both local and interstate freight





Replenishing warehouse inventory and monitoring product quantities

Regular stock take, counting and maintaining accurate stock figures.

Customer service (face to face and Telephone)

Providing support to Sales and Operations for stock purchasing, accuracy, and availability

Picking and packing of orders

Total accountability for the presentation, management, and daily workflow of the warehouse

Lifting is required up to 20kg, pallet racking and the required tools are available to move stock.

To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate the following personal attributes:

Good communication skills and phone manner

Action orientated and client driven.

Be able to work unsupervised and always act with integrity and trust.

Have good attention to detail with lateral thinking ability!

Suitable math’s, reading skills and basic computer/administration skills.

Working hours for this position are 7am-4pm.
