Plaza Dental Centre has been serving the Hurstville community for 30+ years, and have built a reputation for being an outstanding dental practice in the area. We are looking for a Casual Dental Assistant to join our dental team in Hurstville where you will provide exceptional patient care and chairside dental assistance in a variety of dental procedures. This is a busy, rapid-paced role where you will be given the chance to further develop your dental knowledge and skills by our supportive team.

Our hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. This casual position is available on a Tuesday and will be supporting a Dentist and OHT alongside another dental assistant.

Who you are
Fast, sharp and tech-savvy, comfortable with digital systems and keen to master current ones.
Meticulous with detail, especially in sterilisation, records and materials.
Warm and reassuring with patients, especially anxious patients, children and teens.
A team player who takes initiative and takes pride in doing things properly.
Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent experience (preferred but not essential).



If you’re great and eager to learn, full training will be provided.

The Responsibilities
Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists
Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service
Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures
Advising patients of care
Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff
Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures
Answering telephone calls and enquiries
Administration support
