Mega Recruitment is partnered with a leading Tier 1 architecture practice to appoint an experiencedSenior Architect or Associatefor a major healthcare project of exceptional scale, complexity and public significance.
This is a career-defining opportunity for a health-focused architect who understands the demands of large clinical environments and can operate confidently across stakeholder engagement, planning, documentation and delivery.
Working within a highly experienced health team, you will help drive the design and delivery of a major hospital project, ensuring clinical requirements are translated into clear, practical and high-quality architectural outcomes.
You will be involved in shaping functional healthcare environments that respond to patient care, staff workflows, operational efficiency, compliance and long-term adaptability.
In your role as a Senior Architect or Associate your areas will focus on the following:
Driving packages of work across briefing, design development, documentation and delivery
Interpreting clinical requirements and operational models into well-resolved planning outcomes
Working with clinical user groups, consultants and internal project teams to resolve complex design challenges
Contributing to high-quality design material, technical packages, reports and presentations
Overseeing Room Layout Sheet coordination and ensuring planning information is accurate and aligned
Supporting programme, quality and compliance outcomes across assigned project areas
Managing project information, coordinating inputs and guiding junior team members where required
Contributing to a collaborative studio culture through knowledge sharing and mentoring
Using dRofus as part of a structured project delivery environment
We are seeking someone who can bring their health care experience into a high-profile Tier 1 practice.
In this role, we require you to have a strong understanding of how healthcare buildings function, and the confidence to work closely with clinicians, consultants and project leaders to resolve competing design, technical and operational requirements.
In the role as a Senior Architect or Associate, we will need you to have the following skills:
Current experience on hospital, acute care, ambulatory, specialist clinical or comparable healthcare projects
Proven ability to contribute across detailed design, documentation and construction-phase delivery
Confidence communicating with clinicians, consultants and project stakeholders
Familiarity with healthcare standards, codes and regulatory requirements
Strong coordination skills and the ability to manage work packages with limited supervision
A proactive, professional and team-oriented approach
Robust clinical planning capability, with an understanding of patient journeys, staff movement, adjacencies, infection control and operational flow
