The Role and Responsibilities

Working with the support of our senior accountants, you will be responsible for:




Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and business activity statements across a range of business entities
Assisting with the management of our client base across a variety of industries
Identifying compliance concerns and prospects as they arise
Researching technical matters and helping prepare advice for clients
Building your skills and knowledge through hands-on client work and regular mentoring

The successful applicant will have
A degree qualification in accounting or a related field (or be nearing completion)
Xero and XPM experience (preferred). Experience with other cloud-based accounting programs is highly regarded
A broad knowledge of Australian tax fundamentals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and a solid technical focus
Robust organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
A high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to build client relationships
Enthusiasm, self-motivation and a genuine desire to learn and grow
