Join a Growing Specialist Surgical Practice

We are an established and expanding specialist surgical practice bringing together a team of highly respected surgeons, doctors and allied health professionals. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a professional, supportive and cooperative environment.

As our practice continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Office Manager to help lead our administration team and support the day-to-day operations of the practice.

About the Role

Reporting to the Practice Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth operation of our busy specialist practice.

Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting the administration team
Coordinating daily practice operations
Managing patient enquiries and appointments
Theatre scheduling and coordination
Medicare, health fund and billing processes
Supporting surgeons and clinicians with administrative requirements
Monitoring workflows and identifying opportunities for improvement
Maintaining accurate patient records
Assisting with rostering and leave coverage

About You

You'll be an organised, proactive and approachable leader who enjoys building strong teams and creating efficient systems.

You'll bring:
Experience leading an administration team within a medical practice
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Confidence using medical software and learning recent systems
A high level of professionalism and confidentiality
The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment
A genuine commitment to exceptional patient care

Desirable
Experience in specialist consulting rooms
Knowledge of Medicare billing and referrals
Experience coordinating theatre bookings
