Join an exciting opportunity to capture the vibrant atmosphere and culinary highlights of The Taste of Port Douglas seafood event.
This on-site assignment is ideal for local content creators passionate about food, events, and social media storytelling.
You will attend and document key activities, including Sashimi from Scratch, the Lexus Long Lunch, and Tide to Table, producing engaging photo and video content that showcases the event's unique seafood experiences.
Your work will support user-generated content initiatives and help amplify the event's reach across digital platforms.
Deliverables Attend and capture high-quality photo and video content at three scheduled event segments on 7 August and 8 August.
Focus on sponsored seafood activities, event ambiance, and attendee engagement.
Deliver edited content suitable for social media (Instagram Reels, posts, and stories) by 14 August.
Ensure all deliverables meet brand guidelines and highlight the event's culinary excellence.
Requirements Based in or near Port Douglas with availability to attend all specified event times in person.
Demonstrated experience in content creation, photography, and videography for social media.
Proficiency with smartphones or cameras for capturing and editing short-form content.
Ability to deliver polished, engaging visuals under tight deadlines.
Strong understanding of social media trends, especially Instagram.
Excellent communication skills and a cooperative approach.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently during live events.
