Skills Required:
Customer service skills, patience and understanding of elders needs

Flexibility to work a minimum of 3 days a week (Monday to Friday)
School parent friendly hours available
Able to work minimum shifts when required 2 hours+, occasional 1 hour shifts
Excellent communication skills - able to speak basic Italian

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the social care industry
Responsibilities:
As aCare Professional,you will be responsible for assisting clients with their daily activities, promoting their independence and wellbeing, and ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
This is a casual position with flexible working hours.




Assist clients with maintaining a clean-living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
Provide direct care assistance to clients including personal hygiene support (qualified Cert III only staff)
Promote independence among clients by encouraging them to participate in activities that enhance their physical and mental wellbeing.
Social support, taking people out for a coffee or lunch, or sitting and having a chat and cuppa at home
Establish positive relationships with clients through effective communication, active listening, and understanding their individual needs.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions including observations made during visits or shifts
Report any changes or concerns regarding the client's health or well-being promptly to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional.
Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations related to social care practices.
Qualifications:
Qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support or Nursing students encourgaged to apply
Previous experience working in the social care industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
A valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable registered vehicle and insurance
Australian Federal Police Check (or willing to obtain one)
