As the Senior Pharmacist you will deliver high level clinical pharmacy services within the Mental Health Wards as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
About us:
The Pharmacy Service at Cairns Hospital (CH) provides a pharmacy service to the clinical areas of the hospital.
Current services provided include: outpatient pharmacy services, clinical pharmacy services to inpatient areas of Cairns Hospital, clinical trials, and educational services.
The Pharmacy at Cairns Hospital also provides operational management to the pharmacy teams at Innisfail, Atherton, Mareeba and Mossman.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will...




Contribute to the professional development of junior pharmacist and pharmacy assistants within the team.
Liaise with patients and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers as required to ensure continuum of care.
Provide general clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding clinical pharmacy services delivery.
