Hydraulic Fitter Machinist - Full-time Permanent Position
We are seeking an experienced and motiviated Hydraulic Fitter Machinest to join our growing team. This role involves the assembly repair, testing and machining of hydraulic components and systems across a variety of industrial applications.
You will work in a well-equipped workshop environment with opportunities for overtime, training and career development.
Key Responsibilites
Diagnose, repair, and rebuild hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves
Interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
Operate machining equipment including lathes, mills, and honing machines
Assemble and test hydraulic systems to specifications
Conduct fault finding and preventative maintenance
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Ability to work in a team environment




Skills & Experience
Trade qualification as a Hydraulic Fitter, Machinist, or similar
Proven experience in hydraulic component repair and machining
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience with measuring equipment and tolerances
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
Desirable (but not essential)
Field service experience
Welding experience
High-risk work licences
