Creative Conversions is the leader within 2nd Stage Vehicle Manufacturing, specialising in Landcruiser wagon to dual cab conversions. We are now in full production on the brand new 300 series Landcruiser, continuing a 2nd production line on the 200 series and Toyota Tundra with many orders in our production schedule.

In this role
You will...
Be a key team member in the conversion team that completes the cabin re-configuration, body + tray mount manufacturing and a part of the Conversion Team that completes the wheelbase extension, chassis and diff re-manufacturing.
You will have high attention to detail; be well organised; be agile in your work, ability to work as part of a high performing team.
Be focused on forward datedeadlines and enjoy working in a busy manufacturing environment.
The job involves completing bespoke vehicle panel fabrication and installation- reconfiguring the vehicle cabin to a Dual-Cab using silicon bronze welding and alloy bonding techniques
Body + tray mount component fabrication and installation
The Body Manufacturing division is a combination of Welding, fabrication, Subcomponent manufacturing to name some of the tasks.
Assistance and contributing to our on-going R&D; of the conversion and manufacturing process for each model.
Your background and Qualifications




Ideally you will be someone who has had experience in bespoke 2nd stage vehicle manufacture.With a passion for 4x4 vehicles.
Trade experience, Welder, Sheet Metal Worker, Fabricator or Coach and Motor BodyBuilding is well suited to the variety of tasks needed to be completed in this dynamic vehicle manufacturing position.
Preferably both light gauge and heavy gauge welding experience.
You need to hold a current Australian driver's licence and have worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of OH&S;/WHS.

The remuneration
Fulltime with Competitive hourly rate negotiated based on experience.
42-hour work week. 38 hours standard plus 4 hours overtime per week + additional generally available.
