Senior Registrar/Fellow-Haematology/BMT CAR T
A temporary full-time opportunity to combine high-level clinical practice with meaningful research, clinical trial participation and academic development.
About the role
This advanced fellowship offers an exceptional opportunity for a recently qualified Clinical Haematologist to further develop expertise in Haematology, Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) and Cellular Therapies, with a particular focus on Chimeric Antigen Receptor T (CAR T) Cell Therapy. This role combines high-level clinical practice with a strong research focus, providing exposure to complex haematological malignancies, stem cell transplantation, cellular therapies and clinical trial activity.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Maintain high standards of service in Haematology/BMT.
Act as a Fellow at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and provide services to inpatients and outpatients as directed by the Director of Haematology/BMT in accord with the mission and goals of the Hospital.




Serve in one or more specialised clinics in the Division of Haematology/BMT and serve on multidisciplinary clinics and services as required by other disciplines for the management of cancer patients.
Perform general clinical duties.
Engage in research programs within the department or in cooperation with other disciplines, including development of a specific clinical research project for completion during this appointment.
