About the role
We are seeking a motivated Construction Surveyor to join our team at Ellipse Surveying. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering precise set-out and as-built surveys across a range of construction projects, including:
Building feature set-out
Precast wall set-out
As-built or work as executed surveys
Structural steel set-out
Slab and footing set-out
Detail surveys
Key Responsibilities:
Set out structural and architectural features on active construction sites
Prepare relevant drawings and data for set-out
Undertake Quality Assurance (QA) checks and plan preparation following each set-out
Prepare survey reports, maps,



and documentation
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure project success
Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards
Experience/skills:
At least 5 + years of experience in construction surveying
Strong proficiency in using surveying instruments and software (Leica experience preferred)
Experience with AutoCAD preferred
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Valid driver's licence
