Our client is a national supplier of high-end building products predominately utilised in kitchen and bathroom projects within the residential, multi-residential and small commercial spaces. Their product is renowned and they have established themselves as a market leader in Australia, nation-wide.
This newly created role is critical for the continual growth and development of the company's expansion plans as they look to establish themselves even further in Australia. They continue to introduce new, innovative and most importantly sustainable products to gain further market share.
Role
This role will see you heading up the state of NSW and overseeing a newly established team of 4 x Area Managers, 2 x Office Staff & 2 x Warehouse operatives. Your time will be spent leading from the front in terms of client development, as well as hiring, training and mentoring your new team in NSW.
You will ideally be able to leverage your relationships within the construction industry, with the current main routes to market being kitchen retailers, stone masons, trades, interior designers & builders. You will be responsible for increasing sales revenue,



reaching percentage growth targets and also assisting the team to reach the overall state budget.
Skills & Experience
We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills and experience;
Strong decorative building products sales and management experience
Proven track record in sales leadership, coaching and mentoring sales teams
Experience within the kitchen and/or decorative surfaces industry is highly desired
Solid understanding of the specification process and technical aptitude
High degree of energy, self-motivation and desire to be rewarded with your hard efforts
Existing relationships with specifiers and decision makers in the specification process
Stable track record of employment and desire to move into a long-term career role
The salary package is negotiable based on experience ranging from $130,000-$150,000 Base and will also include a car, super, tools of trade and a management incentives scheme. This role is available immediately and interviews will commence ASAP.
