are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Trades Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands‐on workshop experience looking for stable, ongoing work with consistent hours and a supportive team environment.
About the Role
Working within a well-established workshop, you will be assisting qualified tradesmen with a variety of day-to-day workshop duties including grinding, cutting, drilling, material handling, and operating hand and power tools. This role will suit someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining a safe workspace, and can work efficiently within a team setting.
Key Responsibilities
Grinding, cutting, and drilling materials
Safe operation of hand and power tools
Assisting tradesmen with workshop duties and fabrication support
General workshop housekeeping and maintaining clean work areas
Moving materials and supporting daily workshop operations
Following all workplace safety procedures and standards
Skills & Experience




2-3 years' experience within a workshop or manufacturing environment
Experience using grinders, drills, cutting equipment, and hand tools
Strong understanding of workshop safety procedures
Forklift ticket is required
Overhead crane experience/ticket highly regarded
What's on Offer
$40/hr + penalties + super
Consistent hours: 6:00AM - 3:00PM daily
