Repair Coordinator (Insurance Repairs)
We're a family-owned and run building business with a strong reputation across South East Queensland, and we're looking for a Repair Coordinator to join our growing insurance repairs team.
You'll be the essential link between our customers, insurance partners, and trade network — keeping jobs organised, communication clear and repairs moving from approval through to completion. If you're the kind of person who loves keeping things moving, staying on top of details, and leaving people feeling looked after, you'll fit right in.
The Work
Manage a portfolio of residential insurance repair jobs, supported by our on-road team
Book appointments, coordinate trades and keep schedules on track
Provide clear updates to customers and stakeholders, and proactively identify ways to speed up repairs and resolve claims sooner
Prepare and manage job documentation as required, including progress and final invoicing
Maintain accurate job notes and records across our systems and client portals
Collaborate with building supervisors to get jobs signed off promptly by the insured
Help ensure a smooth, professional experience for customers — often during stressful times (storm/flood/fire impacts)
Support the wider repair support team with other tasks as needed

About You
Strong administration skills and confidence with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (you can write a clear update and handle calls professionally)
Great organisation and time management — you can juggle priorities without dropping the ball
Exceptional attention to detail — you catch what others miss
Comfortable preparing invoices and keeping accurate financial/job records
Customer-first mindset and the ability to stay steady in a fast-paced environment
Bonus: experience in insurance repairs, building administration, scheduling, claims/restoration, or similar
