RECRUITZ AUSTRALIA Our client, NRC Reinforcement Pty Ltd is a growing structural concrete and reinforcement contractor delivering high-quality commercial and civil construction projects across the Sydney metropolitan area. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming work,NRC is seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters to join the team on a full-time basis.
NRC is looking for reliable tradespeople who take pride in their workmanship, enjoy working in a team environment, and are committed to delivering quality results safely and efficiently. Working across a variety of commercial and civil projects, your responsibilities will include:
Constructing and installing timber, plywood and proprietary formwork systems
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans
Measuring, cutting and assembling formwork accurately
Installing bracing and temporary supports
Stripping and dismantling formwork after concrete curing
Working closely with steel fixers, concreters, crane operators and site supervisors
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
Complying with all WHS policies and site procedures
Assisting with general site duties where required Benefits

Task & responsibilities
Working across a variety of commercial and civil projects, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with general site duties where required Qualification & experience
Qualification & experience
Minimum 1 years' experience as a Formwork Carpenter (3+ years desired)
Trade qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent) highly regarded but not essential where substantial experience can be demonstrated
Strong understanding of commercial formwork systems and construction methods
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
White Card
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail
Current driver's licence and reliable transport preferred
