About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide tailored support to NDIS participants with varying needs, including psychosocial disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and complex behaviours.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting participants with
daily living activities
(personal care, meal prep, household tasks)
Supporting
community access and social participation
.
Implementing
individualised care plans and behaviour support strategies
.
Encouraging independence, choice, and control.
Maintaining accurate




progress notes and reporting
.
Supporting participants in achieving their
NDIS goals
.

Essential Requirements:
Current
NDIS Worker Screening Check
(or willing to obtain)
Working With Children Check (QLD Blue Card)
Current
First Aid & CPR Certificate
Valid
Driver's Licence
and access to a reliable vehicle
Robust communication and documentation skills
Desirable:
Support Independent living (SIL) support experience.
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar.
Experience with
mental health, SIL, or high intensity supports
.
Knowledge of
NDIS Practice Standards
.
