About the role and opportunity –
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day‐to‐day warehouse and distribution centre operations at ourAmazon Kemps Creeksite.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the protected, efficient and cost‐effective operation of the DC, delivering service excellence while meeting performance, safety and financial targets. This is a senior, hands‐on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in fast‐paced, high‐volume environments and is passionate about people, safety and continuous improvement.
This pivotal roleis responsible fordelivering high-qualitylogisticsservices to our customers, ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities, but not limited to -
Lead and manage daily warehouse and distribution operations to meet service and financial targets.
Plan and coordinate resources to ensure labour, equipment and systems are utilised efficiently.
Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and enhancing service outcomes.
Investigate operational issues, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure all site processes, procedures and standards are documented, implemented and adhered to.
Act as point of escalation for operational issues and support audits, inspections and reviews.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support growth and operational excellence.
WhatWe'reLooking forto Drive Success–
Experience or exposure in a 3PL environment – understanding third-partylogisticsand client service delivery.
Solid knowledge of warehousing and distribution best practice, WMS and labour optimisation.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coach performance and foster a collaborative site culture.
Sound understanding of safety, legislative and compliance requirements.
Strong problem‐solving skills with a solutions‐focused mindset.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
