We are advertising on behalf of our client (Getsu Japanese Restaurant and Cafe) Position: Chef Location: Bowral NSW **** Salary: $77,000 - $79,500 plus Superannuation Our client 'Getsu Japanese Restaurant and Cafe' is looking for a Chef to join their growing kitchen team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creating menu items, recipes and dishes, ensuring variety and quality
Working closely with the Executive Chef to develop menu ideas
Managing daily production and planning
Determining food inventory needs, ordering and stocking
Controlling kitchen operational costs
Managing and working closely with other Chefs of all levels
Ensuring the kitchen meets all food safety and hygiene regulations
Maintain a climate of cooperation and respect between teammates
Train junior kitchen staff
Prepare and cook food based on recipe guidelines
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Relevant qualification/s
Prior experience in a similar role/setting
Excellent communication skills
Passion for cooking
