We are seeking an experienced accountant with a solid background in taxation and compliance to join our team.
This role suits someone who can work autonomously, manage a diverse client portfolio, and deliver accurate, timely outcomes across a range of entity types.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.
Preparing BAS, IAS and other compliance obligations.
Assisting clients with tax and accounting queries.
Liaising with the ATO and other government agencies.
Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
Building and maintaining solid client relationships.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
5 years' experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm.
Experience preparing tax returns and financial statements.




A sound understanding of Australian tax legislation and compliance requirements.
Robust attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or APS (preferred but not essential).
CA or CPA qualification (completed or currently studying) is desirable.
