Facilities Cleaner
to join our Maintenance Team and take ownership of the cleanliness, presentation and hygiene standards across our entire property.
This is not your typical cleaning role.
We're seeking someone who takes genuine pride in their work, notices the details others miss, and understands that a clean, well-presented environment is a critical part of delivering an exceptional visitor experience.
You'll be responsible for helping maintain a large and diverse site that includes visitor facilities, public amenities, commercial kitchens, café spaces, offices, retail areas, staff facilities and tourism attractions.

About the Role
As our Facilities Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene across the property.
Your responsibilities will include:
Daily cleaning of public amenities, offices and staff facilities
Cleaning and sanitising commercial kitchen and café areas
Maintaining visitor, retail and tasting areas
Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and waste management
Restocking consumables including toilet paper, paper towels and soap
Performing scheduled deep cleans across all departments
Monitoring site presentation and addressing areas requiring attention
Reporting maintenance issues and safety concerns
Supporting the overall presentation and visitor experience of Tropical Fruit World
Working closely with our Maintenance Team and department managers
Work hours and days
Sunday to Thursday
Up to 35 hours per week
Sunday rate
About You
We're looking for someone who:




Has previous commercial cleaning experience
Takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards
Is able to work independently
Is self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to see what needs to be done and take action without constant supervision
Has excellent attention to detail
Is physically fit and capable of performing a hands‐on role across a large property
Is reliable, organised and trustworthy
Has strong time‐management skills
Enjoys being part of a team and contributing to a positive workplace culture
Is willing to work weekends as part of their regular roster
Experience cleaning hospitality venues, tourism attractions, schools, aged care facilities, resorts or large commercial sites will be highly regarded.
