Are you a relationship-driven Business Development qualified who thrives on getting in early and winning trust before a brief is even written? We're looking for a BDM to drive growth for a well-established commercial fitout and workplace strategy firm with a track record spanning three decades.
About the Company
This firm pairs deep workplace strategy expertise with in-house design and delivery capability, giving clients a genuinely integrated path from strategic advice through to a finished fitout. It has built a reputation as a trusted advisor across the commercial property sector, not just a contractor bidding on tenders.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain a high-value network of tenant representatives, leasing agents, landlords and corporate real estate contacts
Develop direct relationships with end-user clients, understanding what's driving their workplace decisions, lease expiry, headcount growth, culture change, hybrid working resets
Identify and qualify fitout opportunities early,



managing a pipeline from first conversation through to tender and appointment
Lead the preparation and delivery of pitches and proposals, translating client needs into a compelling value proposition
Represent the firm at industry events and property networks to build visibility and market presence
Contribute to the firm's brand and digital presence (LinkedIn, website content) as part of the broader BD effort
Ideal Candidate
Demonstrated BDM success in commercial property, interiors, fitout or construction
A natural connector who understands how commercial property decisions get made and who the key influencers are
Confident using strategic insight, not just relationships
Self-starter comfortable with autonomy, pipeline ownership and revenue accountability
