About the role
We are looking for a hands‐on and proactive
Warehouse Operator
to join our Bayswater team and play a key role in supporting the day‐to‐day operation of our branch.
This is a varied role where you'll be actively involved in warehouse, yard and logistics activities while helping ensure equipment, inventory and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
What You'll Be Doing
Receiving and processing incoming equipment, parts and deliveries
Preparing, cleaning, inspecting and dispatching rental equipment
Coordinating freight and transport requirements
Loading and unloading equipment and materials
Operating forklifts and undertaking general warehouse and yard duties
Maintaining inventory accuracy and stock control
Keeping the warehouse and yard organised, safe and professional
Coordinating site maintenance activities and contractor visits




Working closely with the Branch Manager to support safe and efficient branch operations
What you'll bring
You're a self-starter who naturally takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what needs doing. You enjoy creating order, improving processes and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Current Forklift Licence with at least 2 years' operating experience
Experience in warehouse, logistics, yard operations or equipment handling
Strong commitment to safety and housekeeping standards
Ability to work in a physically active, hands‐on environment
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
