Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in the design, fabrication, and supply of high-quality steel infrastructure products used across the utilities, telecommunications, transport, lighting, and construction industries. With a robust reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service, they are continuing to grow and are looking for a Workshop Maintenance Officer to join their team.
As a Workshop & Maintenance Officer, you'll be responsible for preparing raw materials and components for production.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare materials in accordance with production cutting lists.
Operate equipment including bandsaws, croppers, drills, linishers, and sandblasting equipment.
Produce components to required quality standards and specifications.
Carry out routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
Report equipment faults and maintenance requirements.
Assist with general factory maintenance and housekeeping.
About You
We're looking for people who:
Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.




Can work independently and as part of a team.
Have good attention to detail and organisational skills.
Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks safely while maintaining a strong focus on workplace safety.
Hold a current forklift licence.
Have previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, fabrication, or industrial experience (preferred but not essential).

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 3:20 pm | Friday: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
(Early finish every Friday!!)
