About the Role

Jacobs seeks an ICT Infrastructure Designer to contribute to complex projects within the Defence and Federal Government sectors. The position can be based in the Brisbane or Sydney office.

Responsibilities

/n

/n
Develop ICT infrastructure designs across the full project lifecycle, from early master planning to detailed design documentation for construction.

/n
Provide technical support throughout construction.

/n
Translate user requirements into practical, implementable solutions in collaboration with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary design teams.

/n
Coordinate designs with engineers, architects and other technical specialists to ensure alignment with Defence standards and project objectives.

/n
Build robust relationships, communicate effectively, and contribute to a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

/n

/n
Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Information Technology or Telecommunications Engineering qualification, or 10+ years relevant telecommunications infrastructure design experience.

/n
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably working with clients in Defence, Government, major construction or infrastructure projects as a consultant.

/n




Confident verbal communicator in client-facing environments, excellent written communication skills and the ability to engage successfully across broad and complex stakeholder groups.

/n
CAD and or BIM experience preferred.

/n
Eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
