We are seeking a candidate to join our
JLT
Public Sector NSW Claims Team
at
Marsh
in the role of
Claims Consultant
. This role will be based in our
Sydney office
. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role is integral to the delivery of claims management services to our clients. You will handle a portfolio of general insurance claims for NSW Local Government Clients, with a focus on liability and property claims.
We will count on you to:
Manage end-to-end processes for a mixed portfolio of primarily Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Property claims.
Conduct accurate reserving, claims investigation, manage claims costs, and negotiate with various third parties.
Build and maintain rapport with clients.
Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, adjusters, underwriters, and reinsurers.
What you need to have:
1-2 years claims management experience.
Good written and oral communication skills.
A robust customer service approach.
Deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills.
The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.
