Aftersales Manager - Service, Technical & Warranty
Nexa Automotive Imports is just getting started - and that's exactly what makes this opportunity so compelling.
We're a newly established automotive import business on a mission to bring world-class vehicles and a smarter, more connected supply chain to the Australian market. Leading our line-up are QJMOTOR and VOGE, two exciting motorcycle brands we'll be importing and growing right across Australia. We've got the vision, the backing, and the drive. Now we're building the team to turn it into reality.
This isn't a role where you'll inherit an established service department and manage it on autopilot. This is your chance to build the service, technical, and warranty function from the ground up, to set the standards, shape the processes, support our dealer network, and become the person our manufacturers and dealers trust when things need to be resolved.
THE ROLE
Be the technical heart of Nexa's aftersales operation.
As our Aftersales Manager, Service, Technical & Warranty, you will own the three pillars that define the post-sale ownership experience: service support, technical assistance, and warranty administration. You'll be the primary point of contact between our manufacturer partners, our dealer network, and our customers when technical issues arise, and you'll be the person who makes sure they get resolved properly, promptly, and professionally.
You'll work closely with the leadership team and have direct input into how Nexa's aftersales reputation is built from day one. That's a serious responsibility, and a serious opportunity.
What you'll be doing:
Own and manage the end-to-end warranty function, processing claims, liaising with manufacturers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely reimbursement
Provide technical support and guidance to the dealer network, diagnosing issues remotely and coordinating escalations to manufacturer technical teams where required
Develop and implement service standards, processes,

and documentation to support consistent delivery across the dealer network
Act as the primary liaison between Nexa, manufacturer technical and warranty departments, and authorised service centres
Manage technical service bulletins, recall notices, and compliance requirements, ensuring the dealer network is informed and actioning promptly
Support dealer technician training and development, identifying gaps and coordinating with manufacturers on training programs
Monitor dealer service performance, KPIs, customer satisfaction, warranty claim rates, and turnaround times
Handle escalated customer complaints relating to technical and warranty matters, delivering resolutions that protect the customer and the brand
Build the reporting framework for service, technical, and warranty performance and present findings to the leadership team
Contribute to the development of aftersales processes and systems as the business and dealer network grows
Represent the business at national industry events, trade shows, expos, product launches, and dealer conferences. This includes presenting product ranges, supporting promotional activity, and engaging with dealers and suppliers, and will at times involve interstate travel with overnight stays and occasional weekend or after-hours attendance.
ABOUT YOU
You know the technical side. You know warranty. And you know how to get things done.
You're an experienced aftersales professional with a strong technical background and a track record of managing warranty functions and dealer service networks. You're the kind of person who can translate a complex technical issue into plain language for a dealer or customer,

and who understands that how a warranty claim is handled can make or break a brand's reputation. You're organised, thorough, and not easily rattled.
You'll need:
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in an aftersales, service management, or technical support role within the automotive, powersports, or related industry
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, sufficient to support dealer technicians and liaise credibly with manufacturer technical teams
Proven experience managing warranty claims end-to-end, including manufacturer submissions, adjudication, and reimbursement processes
Experience supporting or managing a dealer or franchise service network
Excellent communication skills, you'll be dealing with manufacturers, dealers, and customers regularly
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, warranty administration requires accuracy and compliance
A trade qualification (automotive or motorcycle mechanic) is highly regarded, solid technical aptitude is essential
A self-starter mindset, in a start-up environment, this function needs someone who builds, not just manages
Desirable but not essential:
Experience in powersports, motorcycle, or recreational vehicle brands
Exposure to OEM or distributor-level aftersales operations
Knowledge of Australian Consumer Law as it applies to warranty and consumer guarantee obligations
Experience delivering or coordinating technical training programs for dealer technicians
WHAT'S ON OFFER
A permanent, full-time role at the foundation of a genuinely exciting new business
The opportunity to define how Nexa's service, technical, and warranty function operates from day one
Real career development, as the dealer network grows, so does this role
Direct access to leadership, your expertise will directly shape business decisions
A collaborative, no-red-tape culture where specialists are trusted and given the autonomy to lead
