laser cutting, or punchingEnsure designs are compliant with manufacturing capabilities and tolerancesCollaborate with workshop teams to ensure designs are practical and buildableModify and improve existing designs for efficiency and cost reductionLiaise with suppliers and clients where requiredMaintain accurate documentation and revision controlSkills & ExperienceDegree in Mechanical Engineering or similarProven experience using Autodesk Inventor (essential)Robust experience in sheet metal design and fabrication processesUnderstanding of:CNC machining, laser cutting, and bending processesMaterial properties (steel, aluminium, stainless steel)Tolerances and manufacturing constraintsAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
