About the opportunity
Join NSW SES as a Change Advisorprovidingspecialist hands on changemanagementdelivery support and guidance to initiatives and change agents within the Service.This hands‐on role involves applying change management methodologies to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of new processes and systems. You will work collaboratively across the business with all stakeholders to understand needs,develop and delivertailored communication and engagement strategies, and ensure alignment with programobjectivesand NSW SES Strategy.The role may also contribute to development and continuousimprovement of the NSW SES DeliveryFramework, including tools and templatesto ensure they meet member and project needs.
As a Change Advisor,you'llbe responsible forcreating high-qualitydeliverables,the development and delivery of change plans and tracking progress to ensure key milestones are met.You'llplay a key role in designingand deliveringchange workshops, trainingsessionsand engagement activities tobuildunderstanding and readiness amongmembers.
Key challenges include staying current with change and communication best practices and applying them within the NSW SES context; understanding the unique role and needs of volunteers in a geographically diverse hub‐and‐spoke structure; and effectively planning and executing change activities with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring their input shapes project outcomes.
This role isbasedat the NSW SES State Headquarters in Wollongong,
while some adaptable working arrangementsareavailable, this role requires you to work from the officemore often than notto ensure effective collaboration and support for project activities.

About you
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
Have a solid understanding of change management methodologies and experience applying them tofacilitatesuccessful transitions in complexandoperationally drivenenvironments.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Possess relevant experience in providing hands on change management support, ideally in a system/technology implementation, op model or process improvement projectintegratingbothagileand traditional project methodologies.
Havedemonstratedexperience in the delivery of change within a large,geographically dispersed workforce.
Be proficient building andmaintainingrelationships with stakeholders at all levels, communicating effectively to influence and negotiate, and ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and problem‐solving abilities to assess change impacts,identifyrisks and support the development ofchange plansthat align with projectobjectives.
Experience workingin avolunteer‐based or emergency servicesorganisationis highly desirable.

Attractive salary range of $116,987 to $129,492 plus 12% superannuation and leave loading
