Finn Valley is seeking an experienced Leading hand to join our team in Newcastle and Upper Hunter Region, NSW. As a Leading Hand, you will play a vital role in our civil construction operations to support the delivery of our projects. Having a B80 Grey Card is highly desirable for this role.
Job Tasks and Duties:
Managing a team and overseeing day-to-day operations on site.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Ability to provide job site leadership and direction.
Inspecting work to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
Scheduling and coordinating subcontractors and deliveries.
Communicating project progress to site engineers, senior management and clients.
Experience Required:
Experience in different activities preferred including – Concreting, Drainage, Pavement Construction, Pit Lid installation, top soiling & concreting etc.
Strong work ethic and the ability to be versatile.
Previous experience in a Leadership role.
