Where you'll be working
SESLHD is one of the largest local health districts in Sydney, covering a geographical area of 468 square kilometres from Sydney's central business district, the beaches from Bondi to Cronulla and down to the Royal National Park. We deliver health care to around 930,000 residents across the local government areas of Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, Bayside, Georges River and the Sutherland Shire. We also provide a key role in helping residents of Lord Howe Island. Our staff also deliver high quality health care across a variety of community-based services ranging from pre-birth to palliative care.
The Role
To be an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, assisting in the provision and further development of quality pharmacy services to assist patients and clients in their health and wellbeing needs. The role provides technical support to the Pharmacy Service in all areas of pharmacy practice, including drug distribution duties, hospital pharmacy production and dispensing activities.

Assessment Questions
Demonstrated recent hospital experience as a Pharmacy Technician and ability to provide technical support in a hospital or community pharmacy setting in all areas of pharmacy practice,



including drug distribution duties, pharmacy production and dispensing activities. Explain how you ensured accuracy and compliance with procedures.
Demonstrated ability to effectively use workplace information technology, experience with hospital pharmacy computer systems (e.g. iPharmacy), and an ability to learn new hospital computer systems.
Demonstrated high-level customer service skills, to a patient, customer, or healthcare professional. Describe how you communicated effectively, particularly in challenging situation or were involved in resolving a concern?
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated problem solving, organisational and time management skills and ability to prioritise competing tasks and workload with minimal supervision, whilst ensuring work is completed accurately and on time
Demonstrated ability to work individually, and a commitment to teamwork to maintain effective working relationships.
Demonstrated experience in providing support and training to staff.
