Geelong Medical & Health Group is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic casual Registered Nurse to join our team. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience working in a clinical nursing role within a medical practice. Exposure to a computer-based booking system and experience working with Best Practice Software will be highly regarded.
It is expected the successful applicant will enjoy working as integral part of a close-knit team and be flexible with availability, delivering the highest level of customer service to patients in an setting that delivers exceptional and personable patient care. The position will be based in all 4 of our clinics in Geelong and on the Surf Coast. Available hours vary, and include weekdays, evenings and weekends hours, approximately ***** hours per week.

The Candidate
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Current Working with Children and Police Check
Passionate and committed to caring for our patients and clients
Experience in General Practice nursing preferred
Nurse Immuniser certificate, not essential but highly regarded
The ability to,prioritise emergency situations, perform ECGs and other tests such as spirometryand audiograms.Assist doctors with childhood and travelimmunisations, procedures including excision of lesions, plastering and assessments
Ability to deliver comprehensive health assessments or willingness to learn on the job
Possess an excellent work ethic, is reliable and has a stable work history
Motivated with high energy level
Ability to keep calm under pressure
Flexibility and Willingness to pick up shifts for sick & holiday relief
Superiorassessment skills and critical thinking
Capacity to multi-task
