About the Role
Based in Colac, you will keep the fleet in top condition and ready for every season and job. It is a hands-on role suited to a mechanic who takes pride in their work and can back their own judgement.
Responsibilities for the role include:
Servicing and repairing agricultural machinery and equipment in line with manufacturer specifications
Inspecting, diagnosing and rectifying machinery and vehicle faults
Scheduling and booking contracted servicing as required




Making sure all machinery and equipment is ready for operations ahead of each season or job
Repairing and fabricating metal parts
Managing workshop inventory of spare parts, fuels and oils
Keeping accurate machinery and vehicle service and maintenance records
Keeping the workshop and sheds clean and orderly
Completing regular pre-start checks and working to all farm safety policies
Reporting any near misses, hazards, incidents and injuries as soon as practical
About the Right Fit
Solid work ethic and ability to use initiative
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work alone and in a team environment
Current Driver's License (essential)
Telehandler/Forklift License (preferred)
HR or HC+ License (advantageous)
