Fire & Rescue NSW operates from local FRNSW Fire Stations with On-Call Firefighters responsible for a wide range of duties including responding to fires and emergencies, community safety activities and education, and collaboration with other emergency services.
On-Call Firefighters are paid for attendance at incidents, training sessions, and education activities. Training is provided, and eligibility includes a NSW driver's licence (minimum P1) and proximity to a FRNSW station.
