We are currently seeking skilled, customer-focused Full time Retail Security Officers to join our team working in Brisbane, QLD.

About the Role
As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a key role in protecting people, property, and assets while creating a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Working within a high-profile retail setting, you will represent Challenger Security with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first approach.
Position Details
Employment Type:
Full-Time
Roster:
Availability to work 38 hours a week, including weekends and public holidays
Hours:
Retail hours, dependent on location e.g. 8.30am - 6.30pm or 9am - 9pm
Locations:
Brisbane, QLD
Key Responsibilities
Conduct internal and external patrols throughout the store
Conduct static posts
Perform opening and closing procedures
Maintain a visible and professional security presence
Monitor customer, staff, and asset protection requirements
Deter suspicious or unauthorised activities
Respond professionally to security incidents and emergencies
Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
Liaise effectively with store management and key stakeholders




Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining security standards
Ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all visitors
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you should have:
Current QLD Security Licence (Required)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (Required)
Police Check (Required)
Previous retail security experience highly regarded
Strong communication and report-writing skills (Highly Desirable)
Professional presentation and grooming standards
Excellent observation and situational awareness skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to security
Physical fitness to undertake patrols and stand for extended periods
