Operations Manager
to lead the overall performance, people, sales and operational functions of our dealership and service centre.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll work closely with the leadership team to drive business performance, support strategic initiatives and deliver operational excellence. You'll also partner with the HR/OHS Coordinator on recruitment, workforce planning, employee performance and development, workplace safety, compliance and leadership development across the business.

About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will provide leadership across
Sales, Service, Parts, Administration and Workshop
operations. Your focus will be on strategic leadership, operational excellence, people development, customer satisfaction and continuous business improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop department managers, supervisors and team members.
Work closely with the General Manager to achieve strategic objectives, operational excellence and sustainable business growth.
Partner with the HR/OHS Coordinator on recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, performance management, employee development, workplace safety and legislative compliance.
Drive sales performance, profitability, customer satisfaction and key business outcomes.
Monitor operational performance through reporting, KPIs and regular leadership meetings.
Ensure dealership and service centre operations are efficient, customer-focused, safe and compliant.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve systems, processes and operational efficiency.
Develop future leaders and create opportunities for employee growth and career progression.
Manage escalated customer concerns and deliver effective service recovery solutions.
Oversee stock management, purchasing,



floorplan management and operational cost controls.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement and workplace safety.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in a senior management or operations leadership role.
Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to support departments and lead by example.
Strong commercial acumen with experience driving operational performance and business growth.
Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience managing KPIs, budgets and business reporting.
A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Experience within the caravan, automotive, heavy vehicle, agricultural machinery or a similar dealership environment will be highly regarded.
Current Victorian Driver Licence.
Experience leading multi-department operations within a dealership or similar environment will be highly regarded.
