Burwood East Location, with 3 days in office and 2 from home
Lead the rollout of key WHS audit recommendations and strengthen safety systems, governance and risk maturity across World Vision Australia.
Bring senior stakeholder influence and a consultative approach to psychosocial risk, incident management, RTW and travel safety.
We're looking for a Senior WHS Advisor who can turn audit recommendations into practical, embedded improvements. This is a hands‐on senior advisory role focused on stakeholder consultation, WHS governance, psychosocial risk maturity, incidents, return to work and travel safety.
About the role
Success in this role will be seen through the implementation of WHS audit actions, explicit progress against action plans, effective risk registers, strong committee and Board reporting, and positive stakeholder feedback on how WHS advice and change is delivered.
What you'll do
Drive implementation of WHS audit recommendations, action plans, frameworks, policies, procedures and risk registers
Manage WHS Committee coordination, risk reviews, incident management, corrective actions and data for leadership and Board papers
Coordinate Return to work, workers compensation and injury management support, including working with leaders, workers and providers
Build maturity in psychosocial hazards and risks and travel safety through strong consultation across the organisation
About you
A senior WHS professional with excellent stakeholder management, consultative and influencing skills across all levels of an organisation
Proven experience implementing audit recommendations, action plans, WHS frameworks, policies, procedures and risk registers
Strong experience with WHS committees, risk reviews, incidents, investigations, return to work, workers compensation and governance reporting




Confidence building organisational maturity in psychosocial risk and travel safety, supported by contemporary WHS knowledge and a relevant qualification
