Their 9,000 strong team works in every kind of weather, creating, connecting, and caring for communities.They are looking for a Bitumen Spray Operator to join their McGraths Hill and Newcastle teams, to start asap.This role is suited to an experienced candidate with a keen attitude, willingness to learn and a desire to further develop a career in the industry.Your main function will be tospray a layer of hot bitumen onto the surface of the road before laying down the asphalt.
The bitumen sprayer is designed to distribute the bitumen evenly over the surface, ensuring that the asphalt adheres properly and forms a solid, durable surface.
Requirements




Hold a current HR or HC LicenceHold a current Dangerous Goods LicenceHave relevant industry cards, e.g. Construction Induction CardA positive attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamPossess a robust commitment to safetySomeone who enjoys an outdoor working environmentHave previous experience in the industry/experience as a bitumen sprayer operatorAre available for weekends, or to live and travel away from home as required.
