Plants Direct Queenslandis based on the Sunshine Coast near Eumundi and is one of Qld's leading production nurseries, covering 40 acres and producing tubestock through to advanced trees for both the retail garden and landscape industries.We are currently recruiting for the following position:Nursery Sales AssistantDuties:Working as part of a team in a busy office environment to ensure effective communication between our clients, production, dispatch and admin teamsEngaging with our established clientele, providing support to our horticultural sales team, assisting with photographing, sourcing, quoting, invoicing and dispatching plant ordersAssisting our horticulture sales team in estimating and quoting on planting schedules for large commercial landscape projectsSupporting our sales team in prospecting and developing current clientsSkills:Genuine enthusiasm for horticulture,



plants and the landscape industryExceptional customer service and organisation skillsExcellent computer and telephone skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook and ExcelHigh attention to detail, displaying enthusiasm and initiativeFlexibility to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious nursery, horticultural, landscaping, landscape estimation experience and qualifications are advantageousThe position is casual - Mon-Fri up to 38 hrs per weekThis position is ideal for individuals passionate about retail sales and horticulture and enjoys working as part of a team in a busy office.Comprehensive training will be provided.
