This is a private equity backed, circa $50m revenue, technology and hardware business which operates in Australia. Backed by a growth-oriented private equity investor alongside an experienced management team, the business has a transparent mandate: scale and expand its current footprint. It operates at the intersection of IoT and enterprise software, delivering integrated platforms to government agencies and private operators. The foundations are solid, the pipeline is real and business development execution is required to unlock the next phase of growth.
The incoming CEO will own the commercial reset and growth agenda. This is not a caretaker role, it is a build role. You will lead from the front on business development, drive a small sales team across B2B and B2G channels and deepen relationships with municipalities and enterprise clients.
Key priorities include:
Scaling revenue through current client acquisition and expanded service offerings.
Leading key relationships with government bodies and private operators.
Driving a disciplined,



sales-led culture across the leadership team.
Evaluating M&A; opportunities to complement organic growth.
Managing a capital-efficient P&L; with a clear path to improved EBITDA.
Who We Are Looking For:
You have led a business as CEO or at EGM level, with a significant commercial function in a B2B or B2G environment and know how to win in both. You are comfortable operating at sub-$100m scale, close to the customer, close to the deal.
You bring:
A proven track record of revenue growth in a complex business with a B2B and B2G focus.
Genuine sales leadership, leading the sales function and key stakeholder relationships to open doors.
Experience working alongside PE or growth investors, with an understanding of what that accountability looks like.
Comfort navigating government and public sector procurement.
The credibility to represent the business externally and the discipline to drive performance internally.
Location:
Sydney, NSW. Regular travel required.
