under the guidance of the Sous Chef.Food Preparation: Ensure all prep work (mise en place) is completed to the highest standards before service.Quality Control: Deliver consistently high-quality, beautifully presented dishes during high-volume service periods.Team Collaboration: Support the Apprentices while seamlessly communicating with front-of-house staff.Food Safety: Maintain strict compliance with food hygiene, health and safety regulations (HACCP), and kitchen cleanliness.What You BringQualifications: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment (clubs, hotels, or large restaurants are highly regarded).
Skills: Strong knife skills, a solid understanding of cooking techniques, the ability to work under pressure.Attitude: A reliable team player with a positive mindset, robust work ethic, excellent communication skills.Availability: Full flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, public holidays.Rights: Full working rights within Australia.
