The Craig Mostyn Group is a leading food and agribusiness that has operated over the past 100 years across Australia. Our operations are in Western Australia, and Victoria, where we produce premium quality pork, beef, lamb, abalone, protein meal and tallow for clients and suppliers here locally and internationally. Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on conveyors, chains, pumps, gearboxes and pneumatic system.
Perform basic welding, maintenance, and repair work without supervision
Carry out fabrication, installation and modification work as required




Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety requirements
Carry out start-up and shutdown proceedings
Carry out major mechanical overhauls, refurbishments & repairs to equipment
Carry out precision fitting within fine precision tolerances relating to bearings, bushes and sleeves and other parts
About You
A Mechanical Fitting trade certificate or equivalent
Working in confined space/gas
Forklift high risk license
Previous maintenance experience in a production setting
Understanding and knowledge of MEX - desired
A good understanding of root cause analysis
Ability to trouble shoot and work safely under pressure
Experience using Lathes, mills, pedestal drills, conveyors, compressors and pumps
