You will join a team embarking on a unique case management service to improve outcomes for injured workers and employers within the Comcare Licensee scheme. You will provide specialist technical advice, reconsideration management, quality assurance and coaching and training across the Comcare claims to drive legislative compliance, claims excellence and continuous improvement across the team.

Responsibilities
Provide specialist technical claims advice across a diverse portfolio of SRC Act claims,



including current and long tail claims, and lead the completion of reconsiderations.
Deliver prompt, accurate and effective technical guidance to Case Managers and Senior Case Managers on legislative, legal and complex claims strategies.
Work closely with the Leadership Team to provide strategic guidance and support to maximise outcomes for clients and injured workers.
Develop and undertaken comprehensive quality assurance plan to include formal audits, file reviews, health checks and technical escalations
Identify, develop and deliver coaching, training and upskilling programs to build the technical capability of the Comcare claims team.
Ensure compliance with the SRC Act, Comcare regulatory requirements, relevant legislation, industry codes and company policies.
Actively monitor legislative developments, regulatory changes, Comcare guidelines, policy modifications and industry trends to maintain and continuously develop technical expertise.
Identify opportunities to review, develop and modify processes, procedures, standards and guidelines that support innovation, improved performance and improved customer experience.
Act as a subject matter expert for escalated or complex claims decisions and disputes.
Collaborate with the Leadership Team on strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
