Forklift Operator Night Shift– Freezer & Dry Store Operations

is seeking an experienced and safety‐focused
Forklift Operator
to support our cold‐store and warehouse operations. This role centres on high‐accuracy forklift work within tempering, freezer, and dry store environments.
About the Role
This position is hands‐on and forklift‐driven. You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, manage stock movements, and maintain product integrity in a quick‐paced cold‐store environment.
Hours of work -6:00pm to 2:30am
Key Forklift Responsibilities
Safely operate
counterbalance forklifts
for all stock handling activities.
Perform accurate
loading and unloading of trucks
.
Operate forklifts in
freezer, tempering, and dry store
environments.
Manage
stock rotation (FIFO)
using forklift movements to ensure accuracy and product shelf life.
Conduct
daily consolidation
using forklifts to optimise space in the freezer and dry stores.
Complete
cycle counts
and racking checks involving forklift access.




Use forklifts for order picking, pallet retrieval, and space management.
Both shift are on offer (Indicate if you prefer day or afternoon shifts)
Other Warehouse Duties
Maintain accurate stock locations using
Excel
and
Microsoft D365
.
Uphold strict housekeeping, safety, and ice‐management standards.
Skills & Experience
Valid
Forklift Licence
— Reach Truck (Double Deep) highly desirable.
Strong experience driving forklifts in
freezer or cold‐store environments
.
Proven ability to manage warehouse stock using FIFO principles.
Confidence operating forklifts in tight spaces and high‐bay racking.
Accurate, safety‐driven, and reliable in all forklift operations.
