We are seeking an experienced P&C; Advisor to join our People & Culture team across the Penrite Group. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role will play a key role in supporting leaders and employees across the business.
As a key member of our P&C; team, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to build strong relationships across stakeholders and provide practical, compliant and solutions-focused advice to managers and employees.
This is a full-time in-office position based at our Head Office in Dandenong South, Victoria and requires full working rights in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the recruitment portfolio end to end (posting job ads, screening, organising interviews, reference checks and drafting employment contracts)
With assistance from more senior members in the team, support and run end-to-end employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, and performance management.
Assistance with drafting, reviewing, updating and implementation of policies across the organisation.
Management of Penrite's HRIS (UKG Ready) and Training Platform (Go1).
Timely administrative support with a high level of attention to detail.
Ensure all departmental forms, templates, and processes are current and easy to access.
Manage engagement initiatives and coordinate with other key stakeholders to deliver.
Provide payroll support and willingness to learn back up payroll.
About you
You will have solid end to end recruitment experience, with the ability to take ownership this discipline within the Company.
You will have a minimum 4 years' experience in a HR/P&C; role, working across the employee lifecycle.
You will demonstrate a solid P&C; background within a manufacturing environment or similar.
You will have worked in a workplace where pay rates, overtime, allowances, and leave entitlements were governed by an Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA).

You will be technologically savvy, ability to pick up systems and understand how to create, develop and design workflows/tasks.
You are degree qualified in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (preferred) or can demonstrate solid proven experience in role.
Have a strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and awards.
Have an understanding of NZ employment legislation (preferred but not essential).
Have a high level of attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset.
