Primary Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a Junior Test Analyst to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions by performing manual testing across a range of applications. Working as part of an established QA team, you will execute test cases, identify and document defects, and collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to ensure software meets functional and quality standards. This is an excellent prospect for someone looking to build their career in software testing within a supportive Agile environment.
Key Accountabilities
Execute manual test cases and test scripts across multiple applications.
Identify, log and track software defects using defect management tools.
Perform regression testing and verify defect resolutions.
Review business and functional requirements to determine testing needs.
Create and maintain test cases, test scripts and supporting documentation.
Work closely with developers,



Business Analysts and senior QA team members to resolve issues.
Participate in test planning, execution and daily Agile ceremonies.
Report testing progress, risks and outcomes to the QA Lead.
Ensure software meets functional, usability and quality standards prior to release.
Essential Requirements
1-3 years' experience in a Software Tester or Test Analyst role.
Experience performing manual software testing.
Ability to design, execute and maintain test cases.
Experience logging, tracking and reporting defects.
Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
