Job Description
StoneTops Mackay is a specialist stone manufacturer and installer.
We are currently recruiting for experienced Stonemason to join our team in Mackay QLD.
The successful applicant will need to possess and undertake:
Replacing defective or missing stones on walls and structures
Laying stones according to construction plans or project specifications
Have a willingness to work
Be punctual and responsible
Robust attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret drawings to fine specifications
Experience in handling a range of materials, including difficult materials
Construction and repair of stone and large masonry slabs
Cutting, shaping and installing polished stones using machines and hand tools to high accuracy
Skills & Attributes:




At least 3 years work experience in stonework and installation
Complete a Certificate III in Stonemasonry (Monumental/Installation)
Visualization: able to envisage and implement aesthetic patterns in the design and construction of stone structures
Physical Strength: able to lift and work with heavy tools and building materials
Physical Stamina: perform the rigorous work task of lifting and aligning blocks for extended periods
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Application opens on 29th of July **** and closes on 29th of August ****
