Key Responsibilities:
Training and Development:
Assist in fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Safely operate hand and power tools, as well as sheet metal machinery.
Fabrication and Assembly:
Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal to specifications.
Assist in welding, soldering, and riveting metal parts.
Assemble and install sheet metal components for various projects.
Quality Control:
Ensure all work meets quality standards.
Inspect finished products for accuracy.
Make adjustments or repairs as needed.
Work closely with experienced sheet metal workers.
Maintain tools/equipment
Participate in team meetings
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Enrollment/completion of a sheet metal apprenticeship program preferred
