Are you a practical, hands-on qualified who takes pride in maintaining exceptional properties to the highest standard?
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management & Property Maintenance Assistant to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, presentation and operation of a premium rural property in Narooma, NSW.
This diverse role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across property maintenance, facilities management, machinery, vehicles and recreational amenities while ensuring the property is always operating at its best.
About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining the property's buildings, grounds infrastructure, vehicles, machinery and premium guest facilities.
Working closely with the House & Property Manager, you'll ensure every area of the property is safe, functional and guest-ready.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities
· Maintain buildings, facilities and outdoor infrastructure to a high standard.
· Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
· Complete minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
· Ensure all facilities remain clean, operational and guest-ready.
Grounds Presentation
· Maintain lawns, pathways, fencing and surrounding property presentation.
· Assist with seasonal property improvements and landscaping projects.
· Ensure the property always presents to an exceptional standard.
· Maintain property vehicles including cars, bikes, water sports equipment.
· Clean, refuel or recharge vehicles after use.
· Coordinate servicing, registrations and scheduled maintenance.
· Ensure all equipment is safe and operational.
· General grounds equipment.
· Perform routine servicing and maintain maintenance records, schedules and registers.
· Premium Guest Facilities.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
· Has experience in facilities, property or estate management.
· Is practical and mechanically minded.
· Can confidently undertake general maintenance and repairs.
· Has experience operating machinery (or is willing to learn).
· Has excellent organisational skills.
· Takes pride in maintaining premium properties.
· Works independently and shows initiative.
· Holds a current driver's licence.
Motorcycle and heavy vehicle licence beneficial.
