Established in ****, we are a well-respected and long-standing supplier to the Construction, Engineering and Industrial sectors across Melbourne. We provide a wide range of tools, safety equipment and industrial consumables to a diverse customer base - and we're now looking for a reliable, motivated Delivery Driver to join our team.
About the Role
As a Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to customers across Melbourne's northern & western suburbs in a fully maintained 2-tonne company van. You'll be the face of our company on the road, ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and professionally. When not driving, you'll assist the warehouse team with tasks such as packing and stock handling.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles to complete daily delivery runs.
Load and unload goods with care.
Plan delivery runs using the most effective routes.
Check and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
Provide friendly, professional service to all customers.
Carry out regular vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.
Follow all road rules, company policies, and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
Ability to confidently drive a 2t van or similar.
Previous delivery driving experience (preferred, not essential).
Familiarity with northern and western suburbs.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and physically fit (able to lift up to 20kg).
A positive team player who can also work independently.
Ability to securely park the company van at your residence.
